After running around, sweating and giving everything you’ve got on the sports field… there’s nothing quite like getting into an ice bath. 🧊

That first hit of cold wakes you up, brings everything back down and leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to go again.

Cold water, clear head, tired body — perfect combination.

Way ahead of his time

Look at this guy 😂
I saw this video and it really made me think about how powerful our perception can be.
He’s reacting completely to what he believes is happening, and his whole body goes into fear before he’s even had a chance to properly see what’s there.
It got me thinking about how often we do exactly the same thing in everyday life.
Something happens, we interpret it, we create a story around it, and suddenly our body is reacting as though that story is fact.
There’s an old teaching about the rope and the snake that explains this beautifully.
Sometimes it’s worth taking a breath, stepping back and looking again before we react.
How much of what we fear is actually happening, and how much is coming from our perception?
Just something I was thinking about after watching this 😂

Why do we sometimes get angry when we don't really understand why?
In traditional Chinese medicine, the Liver is closely associated with the smooth flow of Qi and with the emotion of anger.
When things become stuck or stagnant, we can sometimes feel frustrated, irritable or suddenly more reactive than usual.
This is one of the reasons I find Qigong so interesting.
Rather than simply trying to suppress the emotion, we can start looking at what might be happening underneath it — through movement, breath and awareness.
Sometimes the body is telling us something before the mind catches up.
What do you notice in your body when you get angry or frustrated?

Medical Astrology & Qigong
Sometimes we need to look deeper than the symptoms we experience.
I use BaZi and medical astrology as an additional lens to explore patterns around a person’s constitution, elemental balance, cycles and areas that may need more attention.
When combined with Qigong, breathwork and energy-based practices, it can help create a more personalised approach to the work looking at where we may need to strengthen, regulate, release or restore balance.
It isn't about predicting illness or replacing medical care. It's about using an ancient framework to ask better questions and bring another perspective into the healing process.
Your body has a story. Sometimes the deeper we look, the more connections we begin to see.

Something quietly powerful unfolded at ZenPod this week.
A wonderful woman travelled all the way from California to Bang Sare for a multi-day healing intensive deep energy work, breathwork and ancestral clearing, held one-on-one across several days.
What moved through her was profound to witness. She's kindly shared her own experience in her own words, and I'm grateful she did — watch her story below.
This is the work I love most: holding space for someone to set down what they've carried, sometimes for lifetimes, and walk out lighter, freer and more themselves.
If something in her words lands for you, the door is open. 🙏

Dragon Meridian Reiki & the Meridian Doll
The meridian doll is a simple but incredibly useful visual tool in my Dragon Meridian Reiki sessions.
It gives me a clear map of the body's traditional meridian pathways and acupuncture points, helping me track the areas and points being worked on during a healing session.
Rather than working randomly, I can use the map to follow the pathways, identify key points, and build a clearer picture of how the different areas of the body are connected within the practice.
See the pathway. Feel the connection. Follow the Dragon. 🐉

Tea Cup Qigong

Tea Cup Qigong is a simple, gentle movement practice designed to bring the body and mind back into balance. The movements are slow, controlled and flowing, helping you become more aware of your breathing, posture, balance and the way your body moves.

You don’t need to be fit, flexible or experienced to start. It can be practised standing or adapted to suit your ability.

Why practise Tea Cup Qigong?

- Helps improve balance and coordination
- Encourages smoother, more relaxed movement
- Helps release everyday tension and stiffness
- Develops body awareness and concentration
- Connects movement with natural, steady breathing
- Can be a gentle way to get your body moving without pushing it
- Gives you a few minutes to slow down, focus and reset

The idea is simple: move slowly, breathe naturally and pay attention to what you're doing.

With regular practice, Tea Cup Qigong can become a simple daily ritual for feeling more grounded, mobile and present.

Slow down. Move well. Breathe. Reset.
