Closing out 2024, Southerner’s entered two teams in the RBSC T10 Challenge 2024. Two exciting days of 10 over cricket. Southerner’s Black going down in the Bowl Semi Final however the Southerner’s Gold team creeping past the opponents in their Semi Final to set up a Cup Final encounter with Trailblazers CC. Batting first the Golds posted a competitive 94. It all came down to the penultimate ball when a run out was successful leaving the opponents one run to tie or two to win!! Chanchai comes in and with possibly the quickest ball all weekend and the straightest, breaks the stumps to give the Golds a one run victory to claim the Cup!!
