Congratulations to Chin, a double Champion in today's Rapid and Blitz FIDE Rated Tournaments organized by The rooky! Chin won the Rapid tournament with 5.5/6 and the Blitz tournament with a perfect 7/7, winning 92 and 109 points respectively. A fantastic result for a 10 year old in adult competition.

As award for winning the two tournaments, Chin asked to go to Red Knight Chess Cafe to play the Saturday Evening Casual Blitz tournament and guess what - he won that one too, with 7/7! He might be the first chess player that won 3 tournaments in one day! 😀

Huge congratulations to Janice and to Proud on achieving their dreams to qualify for the World Chess Olympiad! Janice (15) and Proud (12) will be the youngest members in the Thailand National Women's Team 🇹🇭 at the 46th World Chess Olympiad, that will take place in September in Uzbekistan.

5 young ladies from our club have earned their seats in the final Qualifying Tournament for the next World Chess Olympiad! In the finals, there will be 10 women competing for the 5 seats in the National Women's Team 🇹🇭

We are happy that half of the players in the finals are coming from our club. Big congratulations to Kate, Proud, Lilih, Bheem and Janice, and we wish them success in their attempt to make it to the Olympiad.

Big congratulations to Proud who finished 3rd in the 49th Thailand Women Championship, and also Lilih, Bheem and Janice who qualified from the same tournament. Kate earned her seat last year when she finished 2nd in the Women Championship.

Also, best of luck to our Faris who qualified for the men's tournament, and big congratulations to our 10 years old Chin who made it to top 10 in the Open Championship but narrowly missed the spot for the qualifying tournament.

A big shout out to our chess queens who are representing our club in the 49th Thailand Women Chess Championship. At Red Knight we take pride to have so many talented female players, in a time where chess clubs and organizers worldwide are struggling to improve the numbers of female chess players and participants. Nine of our girls have won awards in the recently concluded Junior Championship, a truly remarkable result.

We wish best of luck in this championship to Janice, Fah, Proud, Bheem, Ava and Lilih.
