Just bought your first regulator but not sure how to maintain it? 🤷🏻‍♂️Here’s some tips on what to do:
- For starters remember to get your regulators serviced manually or every 100 dives to ensure safety and performance. And make sure you go to a trained technician.
- After diving rinse the regulator in fresh water as soon as possible to remove salt, sand and debris. Remember to keep the dust cap on!
- Do not press the second stage button whilst rinsing as this can allow water to enter into the hoses and the first stage.
- Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Never store in or expose in extreme heat or direct sunlight which can damage the hoses and the O-rings.

¿Acabas de comprar tu primer regulador, pero no sabes cómo mantenerlo? 🤷🏻‍♂️Aquí tienes algunos consejos:
- Para empezar, recuerda realizar el mantenimiento de tus reguladores manualmente o cada 100 inmersiones para garantizar su seguridad y rendimiento. Y asegúrate de acudir a un técnico cualificado.
- Después de bucear, enjuaga el regulador con agua dulce lo antes posible para eliminar la sal, la arena y los residuos. ¡Recuerda mantener la tapa antipolvo puesta!
- No presiones el botón de la segunda etapa mientras lo enjuagas, ya que esto puede permitir que entre agua en las mangueras y la primera etapa.
- Guárdalo en un lugar fresco, seco y oscuro. Nunca lo guardes ni lo expongas a calor extremo ni a la luz solar directa, ya que pueden dañar las mangueras y las juntas tóricas.
