As the new season edges closer, we are on the lookout for new players to join our already fantastic squad.

Lions 0-1 .

Despite having the majority of the ball and the better chances, individual errors once again cost the Lions.

There were battling performances across the pitch with and marshalling the defence well and keeping last seasons top scorer at bay and covering every blade of grass on the pitch.

However, despite a few gilt edge chances at the end as the Lions pressed, the ball just wouldn’t go in the back of the net.

Next week the Lions will be open to make amends against @ Patana School, Sat 19th 4pm.

Finally, on days like today, the football comes second as today’s MoTM was the Lions’ mascot Georgy Capener, who, just recently, got the amazing news that he’s winning his battle with bone cancer and got to spend the day with his dad watching the footy.
