Mission accomplished today in Bangkok. After 13 years of fishing in Thailand, I had never caught a Julians Carp. Today they were like busses, and I landed five up to 20lb.
Off to the new Bungsamran tomorrow, hoping for a monster or two.

It’s not just about the fishing. Looking at sunrises, sunsets and stunning views like these take out all the stress in life. Tranquility and serenity are in abundance when sitting on a lake, looking out at the view.

A great week at Etang Negreloube last week. 23 fish up to 56.4lb, and a new PB.
We will be back again in 2026, and those 40’s and 50’s will be bigger still.
Great venue, great hospitality, and a really good week had by all.
Don’t you just love the ducks finding your spots and causing a load of commotion. Obviously a little too shallow to avoid the little buggers 😩
