Trailblazers Cricket Club continues its dominant run in the BCA League with a thrilling 4-wicket victory over Almas CC in the second header clash.

Chasing a massive target of 199, TBL showed great character and composure to finish the game in 23.3 overs. TBL remains unbeaten with 3 wins in 3 matches and proudly sits at the top of the points table.

First Innings: Bowling Tight Lines

Trailblazers delivered a disciplined bowling performance to restrict Almas CC to 198/6 in their 25 overs.

• Praveen Dagle led from the front with a superb spell of 2/17 in just 2 overs.

• Kishore Alam kept things tight in the death overs, finishing with an outstanding 1/5 from 2 overs.

• Aman Singh (1/37) and Nishant Grover (1/27) chipped in with crucial breakthroughs to keep the target within reach.

Second Innings: A Thrilling Run Chase 🔥

Chasing 199, Trailblazers approached the innings with confidence and composure, eventually reaching the target in 23.3 overs with 9 balls to spare.

The Platform:

Openers Praveen Dagle (54 off 41) and Rahul Jangir (19) laid a perfect foundation with a 50-run opening stand. Dagle’s brilliant half-century earned him the Player of the Match honors.

The Middle-Order Fightback:

Following a few quick wickets, Archis Parab (39 off 32) and Nishant Grover (24 off 20) stabilized the innings with a crucial 50-run partnership.

The Ice-Cool Finish:

When the required rate spiked, our lower order stepped up beautifully under pressure. Aman Singh smashed a destructive 23 off just 10 balls* (including 2 sixes), and Kanchan Shastri chipped in with a lightning-fast 8 off 2 balls* (1 six). A massive 19-run 22nd over completely swung the momentum, allowing us to cruise across the finish line in the 24th over.

In the second game of Trailblazers cc’s BCA Summer League 2026 campaign, the team delivered a dominant all-round performance to defeat Bcc by 60 runs. Batting first, Trailblazers posted a massive 234/5 in 25 overs, led by Praveen D’s brilliant 85 and a blistering unbeaten 60 off 29 balls from Tamim Rahman C. Rahul J also added a useful 26 runs, while Kishore Alam’s quick sprint between the wickets added valuable runs in the final overs and helped maintain the momentum.

Defending the total, Trailblazers bowlers kept the pressure on throughout the innings. Zia Ul Haque starred with the ball, picking up 3 crucial wickets for just 25 runs, while Ashwani K, Nishant G, and Shrey G chipped in with important breakthroughs. Despite a fighting 46 from Irfan Shoukat, Bcc were restricted to 174/9, handing Trailblazers a convincing 60-run victory.

Trailblazers cc pulled off a thrilling 5-wicket victory over Almas cc in a high-scoring clash of the BCA Summer League 2026 – Challengers A. Chasing a massive target of 219, Trailblazers showed great composure and resilience throughout the innings. Imon Dilshan led the charge with a brilliant 51, while Rahul Jangir (40) and Archis Parab (46) played crucial knocks to keep the chase on track. In the end, experienced batsmen Kanchan Shastri and Ashwini calmly guided the team home under pressure, successfully chasing down the target in 24.3 overs. Earlier, Ashwani Kumar, Archis Parab, and Aman S delivered important breakthroughs with the ball to restrict Almas cc at key moments. A complete team performance sealed a memorable win for Trailblazers cc.

A Tough Finish in the Final

After a dominant season—winning 9 out of 10 matches—Trailblazers Cricket Club fell short in the RBSC T20 final. Still, reaching consecutive finals is a testament to the team’s consistency and fighting spirit.

We would also like to congratulate the entire RBSC team for their outstanding performance in the final.

This season belonged to some outstanding individual performances:

Captain Nishant Grover led from the front with a phenomenal all-round campaign, topping the league charts with 738 points, including 192 runs and 17 wickets, along with 3 Man of the Match awards.

Rahul Jangir was exceptional with the bat, finishing as the highest run-scorer of the tournament (244 runs) and securing the second spot in overall performance (711 points).

Proud of the entire squad for their effort and commitment throughout the tournament.
We may have missed the trophy, but the hunger to come back stronger remains. 💪🔥

Last but not least, we would like to thank the entire RBSC management and Vaughan for organizing another fantastic season of the RBSC T20 Invitational League. Looking forward to the next season 😊
