Persistence 💯
I am finally back to where I want to be with my chin ups! When covid hit and gyms closed, it was difficult to find a place that I could go to consistently train for this. It hindered all the progress I had made and mentally affected me as I previously worked so hard. After months of working hard and being persistent, I am finally where I want to be and feeling like myself again!
Hard work does pay off. Keep at your goals! Work at it everyday and you will be rewarded! 💪🏽
Just remember, if it was easy, everyone would do it. 💞
Active kids = Healthy kids! 💕

Did you know that children at the age of 5 or over should be physically active for at least 60 mins a day?
Many kids these days (and actually even adults) are spending more time sitting and lying down on electronic media. Because of our modern day lifestyle and increasing reliance on technology, we are less active. A lot of adults and children are not getting the daily physical activity that is recommended.
Research shows that inactive children and likely to become inactive adults. This is why it is important to encourage exercise and keeping fit from a young age.
Regular exercise has lots of benefits for children such as:
✅ improving cardiovascular fitness
✅ can help strengthen bones, muscles and joints.
✅ reduces blood sugar levels
✅ can help control weight
✅ helps regulate bloody pressure
✅ boosts energy levels
✅ enhances emotional well-being
✅ encourages a better night’s sleep

If it was easy, everybody would do it …
We all prefer the easier things; the things that are done quickly and instantly with less energy and effort - to get that instant gratification feeling...
We are also uncomfortable with the unknown that’s why we choose what we know and practice the things we have been doing for years. It brings us familiarity and with that comes confidence but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we are progressing..
Like the saying goes .. if nothing change .. nothing changes…
If something is inconvenient to us, takes time and effort. We don’t want to do it because it’s difficult and challenging, but that’s the path that leads you to a larger reward.
We have to learn new ways, develop new habits and abilities that we didn’t have in order to achieve what we want and succeed.
Sometimes good things take time and requires hard work. Consistency is also the key if we want to achieve our goals and have long lasting results.
Doing the easy thing isn’t always right and doing the right thing isn’t always easy.
Challenge yourself and rise up…Be the best you can be; be the best version of you!
Remember the process matters as it will determine your end result!

ภาษาไทย⬇️ When you’re feeling exhausted and unable to go on. Remember that your body can keep going. It’s only the little voice inside your head that wants to stop.
We have to learn to silence that voice. Personally what I always do is debate with it and convince myself that I can go on; I can do another round of the circuit, I can push out a couple more reps of this weight, I can run another around, etc.
Get into a habit of doing that. Talk back to that little voice. Fight it. Your body WILL listen to your mind. If you say you can - your body will always follow!
That’s my little secret to how I keep going! Next time you’re doing your workout - try it out and see if it can help you. 💪🏽💚

ทำแบบนั้นจนเป็นนิสัย สู้กับมันเสมอ ร่างกายของคุณจะฟังความคิดของคุณ ถ้าคุณบอกว่าทำได้ ร่างกายของคุณจะตาม ความคิดของคุณเสมอไป
นั่นเป็นความลับเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ ของโจดี้เอง

Static Stretch - done at the end of the workout and involves stretches that you hold in place for a period of time, without movement.
I believe there are many benefits to this. It loosens up your muscles, improves range of motion and circulation, relieves cramping, and may help decrease delayed onset muscle soreness. I personally also find stretching to be very relaxing😌
Take some time to stretch after your workout. Your body will thank you for it 😊
