Congratulations to Kayla Sanchez for resetting her WOMEN’S 50M FREESTYLE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RECORD! 🇵🇭🏊‍♀️🔥

Sanchez first lowered the national record in the preliminaries of the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in the USA, clocking an impressive 24.90 seconds and surpassing her previous mark of 25.15 seconds, set at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games.

But Kayla wasn’t done yet! In the finals, she lowered the record once again, posting a new national-record time of 24.86 seconds to finish 7th overall. 👏🔥

Another incredible milestone for Kayla and another proud moment for Philippine swimming! 🇵🇭💪

The official Philippine lineup for the 2026 Asian Games 🇵🇭🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

How true is the news that Miranda Renner, the 2025 SEA Games silver medalist in the women’s 50m butterfly, has been added to the Philippine Swimming Team for the Asian Games?

If true, this is certainly good news! Mukhang nakaligtaan lang talaga si Miranda sa initial line-up. 🤭🇵🇭🏊‍♀️

Hopefully, this means we’ll get to see her represent the Philippines again on the Asian stage! 🇵🇭💪

It is interesting to note the Kayla Sanchez' 53.46 new 100m Free national record has surpassed the 53.60 LA Olympics QTA. Qualifying window though for LA Olympics starts next year, on March 1 and ends on 18 June 2028

Congratulations to Kayla Sanchez for rewriting the Women’s 100m Freestyle Philippine National Record with a blazing 53.46 at the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in the USA!

Sanchez shattered her previous national record of 53.67, set at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, in the morning prelims with a time of 53.65, and then trimmed it lower to 53.46 in the finals where she finished 6th overall.

Another historic performance and a proud moment for Philippine swimming! 🇵🇭👏
