The Pixel Penguins stormed past Crimson Storm, 56-29, to make an early statement with a dominant win in the first game of the SCBC Queens Basketball League Season 3, Wednesday, July 8. Former Holyshoot and Mythical 5 team member Keito Yoneyama led the Penguins with 15 points doing most of the damage during the first three quarters. Nica topscored for the Storm with 15 points, including four 3-pointers and a game-high 5 steals. Experience prevailed over youth as the Storm is the youngest team this season, mostly composed of high school and university players.
