To all those who were just wondering why no GCMT20 this year?? We have had the misfortune of loosing the cricket wicket at Harrow International School hence grounds are very limited so we have had to cancel this years charity tournament in honor of our mate Giles. Apologies to all but suppose you will have to hit the nets that little bit harder before the season starts and no doubt we at the Southerners will find other avenues to honor Gilesy as well to raise a few funds for the Thai junior cricket! Hope to be back again 2017.

Two finals played today and we were a tad unlucky with the weather, seems as Giles popped out and missed holding back the weather! Shield Final was won by YTSA over Siam Cricket Club. In the Cup Final the Southerners posted a solid total of 183 off their 20 overs. Andrew Purser and Nathan Kincaid both retiring at 51. Kerala lost a few quick wickets with their ship steadied by Biju however after he departed for 48, wickets tumbled regularly to where they were 7/70 after 11 overs. The rain came and no further play was possible for the game then to be awarded to Southerners on a better net run rate. Congratulations to the Southerners for back to back T20 Cup Victories.
