100dB Sound Putter – Quintic Ball Roll Review
Three 100dB Sound Putter prototypes were tested using Quintic Ball Roll at a putting distance of 8 feet.
Test Setup
🔴 370g Head
🔵 330g Head
🟢 390g Plumber Neck Head
Results
🔵 330g Head – Best Overall
Produced the most square impact.
Average Face Angle: -2.36°
Predicted miss: 3.95 inches left at 8 feet.
Delivered the most consistent directional performance.
🔴 370g Head – Excellent Balance
Average Face Angle: -2.42°
Predicted miss: 4.06 inches left.
Stable feel with very consistent speed and roll.
🟢 390g Plumber Neck – Most Stable Feel
Average Face Angle: -2.61°
Predicted miss: 4.37 inches left.
Heavier head provided exceptional stability but tended to close the face slightly more through impact.
Overall Observations
Across all three prototypes:
Impact quality remained consistently high.
Ball speed was remarkably consistent.
Launch angle and True Roll were within an excellent range.
The primary difference between the prototypes was face control at impact, rather than energy transfer or roll quality.
Conclusion
The Quintic data shows that the 330g prototype delivered the most accurate directional performance, while the 370g offered an excellent balance of stability and control. The 390g Plumber Neck provided the greatest stability but encouraged a slightly more closed face at impact.
These results demonstrate that 100dB Sound Putter can be fine-tuned through head weight and neck design, allowing golfers to select the setup that best matches their natural stroke while maintaining consistent roll and impact performance.
