Our students had the distinct honor of learning from the legendary Ken Ludden. Beyond perfecting their lines, they discovered the true heart of dance: the discipline of a dedicated artist and the spirit that moves a performer.

Yesterday, I attended my daughter’s dance competition.

She didn’t win any prizes that day.
But I was incredibly proud of her.

Because winning wasn’t what mattered most.

What mattered was the months of practice, the discipline of showing up every day, and the courage it took for a young child to step onto a stage alone and perform in front of so many people.

As I watched the competition, I saw many different expressions among the children.

Some were beaming with joy after winning a prize.
Some looked disappointed and sad.

But to me, every child who stepped onto that stage was already a winner.

They showed courage.
They showed commitment.
They tried.

As a pediatrician, I often remind parents (including myself) that childhood is not only about achievements or medals.

It is about building confidence, resilience, and the courage to try again.💪🏻

And sometimes, the biggest victories are the ones without trophies.🏆

What an incredible weekend! Feb 21–22, 2026 marked a brilliant start to our year.🌟

Congratulations to our students on their success at the Asian Ballet Competition 2026 (ABC2026). Your discipline and artistry were on full display, and we couldn't be prouder of what you’ve achieved.
