🪨 Our first GRAVEL trip is here: Gravel Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai
👉 https://cyclingchiangmai.cc/gravel-chiang-mai-to-chiang-rai

If you think you have seen all the cycling in Northern Thailand, think twice. Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are pretty well known areas for local and foreign cyclists, but in this gravel adventure we cover some sections in between both regions with literally nobody on the Strava leaderboard... there aren’t even Strava segments available sometimes! This goes to show how truly trailblazing and special this adventure is.

This trip features 6 cycling stages that cover 470 kilometers and 7,000 meters of elevation gain, and it is fully supported by our local expert team with a ride leader and a driver.
This is a proper gravel adventure that features 30% to 40% of off-road terrain on every stage, with everything from smooth gravel to rocky sections, so a tire choice of 40mm+ is highly recommended, as well as a minimum gear ratio of 30x34t, and a relatively good level of technical skills and fitness (FTP of around 3-3.5 Watt/kg)

The inaugural departures of this trip will be very limited, so be quick if you want to be among the first to try this one-of-a-kind adventure:

24th-31st Jan 2026 - GUARANTEED TO DEPART
31st Jan-7th Feb 2026 - AVAILABLE
7th-14th Feb 2026 - AVAILABLE
14th-21st Feb 2026- AVAILABLE

Green season is in full swing and guide Nut has been very busy taking guests on day tours throughout our favorite local routes in Chiang Mai.
Also known as "rainy season", locals reckon this is one of the best times to ride in Chiang Mai as the fields and forests burst with green colors and it mostly only rains in the afternoon, with plenty of cool overcast mornings to go for a day ride!

GRAVEL CHIANG MAI..!
We are so excited to introduce our new gravel tours project, and be the pioneer company offering gravel cycling tours in Chiang Mai, Thailand!
https://cyclingchiangmai.cc/gravel

This year, we have hand-picked a variety of local gravel routes around Chiang Mai to take our guests on. These tours are suited to intermediate level cyclists and require slightly higher technical skills beyond the standard road cycling ability.
