In loving memory of Clover 🤍

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to Clover.

Clover lived an amazing life. He was so deeply loved by Ludwig and his daughter, Clara, that they built a stable entirely with him in mind - giving him a wonderful life surrounded by people who adored him.

A few weeks ago, at 20 years old, Clover suddenly became very unwell. From the moment he became sick, our entire team, together with our incredible vets, did absolutely everything they could for him. Our vets came day and night to make sure he received the treatment he needed, and we are so grateful for everything they did for him.

Despite everyone’s hardest efforts, sadly, Clover did not make it.

Throughout these weeks, Clover was completely exemplary. He remained sweet, gentle and cooperative. He never lost his kind nature, and he continued to trust us right until the end.

We are absolutely heartbroken to lose him. He was so, so loved, and we will miss him more than words can say.

His memory will live on through everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thank you for everything, sweet Clover. You can run free again now. 🤍

If your horse looks like this, they’re one of the lucky ones. 🤎

It means they’ve had enough time outside to roll, explore, wander around and, inevitably, find every single mud hole available.

Of course, we don’t particularly enjoy finding our horses looking like this… but we’ll always be happy to see them muddy if it means they’ve had the freedom to be horses.

Because a clean horse is nice.
A happy, comfortable horse who has had a good roll in the mud? Even better.

ถ้าม้าของคุณมีสภาพแบบนี้… ถือว่าเป็นม้าที่โชคดีนะ 🤎

เพราะนั่นหมายความว่า พวกเขาได้มีเวลาออกไปข้างนอกมากพอที่จะกลิ้งตัว เล่น สำรวจ เดินเล่นไปเรื่อย ๆ และแน่นอนว่า… ต้องหาบ่อโคลนให้เจอจนได้!

Our first lessons are officially underway, and it’s so special to see Clover Hill slowly come to life.

This rider is working on building her confidence, learning to trust herself, her horse, and the process. And we’re proud to watch those little steps forward.

For us, the lesson doesn’t end when you get off. Learning to care for your horse, cool them down, wash, groom and make sure they’re comfortable is all part of becoming a good horse person.

We’re not quite at full speed just yet, and that’s okay. Good things take time, and we want to build something that grows thoughtfully, with our horses and riders at the heart of it.

We have so much to look forward to, a few little surprises on the way, and hopefully some new school horses joining our family soon.

For now, we’re simply grateful to be at the beginning.

Not all training sessions need to be ridden - in fact, the best sessions often aren’t

A few everyday objects scattered around the arena might not look like much to us, but for a pony, something unfamiliar can be surprisingly scary at first.

We give them the time and space to discover, interact and play with new things at their own pace. Some start off a little shy, but with patience and positive experiences, they learn to approach the unknown with confidence.

Because being a Pony Club pony requires so much more than simply being able to carry a rider.

ที่ Clover Hill เราไม่ได้ใส่ใจแค่ความต้องการพื้นฐานของม้าเท่านั้น แต่ยังให้ความสำคัญกับการที่ม้าทุกตัวจะรู้สึกสบาย ผ่อนคลาย และมีความสุขกับแต่ละวัน ตั้งแต่ในคอกไปจนถึงคอกปล่อยและพื้นที่ออกกำลังกายกลางแจ้ง

พื้นรองนอนที่สะอาดและนุ่มสบาย คอกที่สว่างและอากาศถ่ายเทได้ดี มีเวลาออกไปอยู่ในพื้นที่กลางแจ้งอย่างเพียงพอ อาหารที่ดี การดูแลที่ใส่ใจ รวมถึงรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ อีกมากมายที่ช่วยให้ชีวิตของพวกเขาดีขึ้น

At Clover Hill it’s not just about meeting their basic needs, but making sure that from stable to paddocks, they’re comfortable, settled and genuinely enjoying their day.

Fresh, comfortable beds. Bright, airy stables. Plenty of turnout. Good food, good care, and lots of little details that make life nicer for them.

We treat our horses the way we’d want to be treated ourselves - because they deserve nothing less.

And that’s the kind of home we want Clover Hill to be, for every horse that lives here.

รายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ ที่บางครั้งเราอาจไม่ได้สังเกตเห็น กลับเป็นสิ่งที่สร้างความแตกต่างได้มากที่สุด

It’s the little things you don’t always see that make the biggest difference.

The gentle pats, brushing away flies, fixing a messy mane, giving them a little reassurance when they need it, and checking on them just one more time before walking away.

Sometimes, you can even hear our groom quietly humming to the horses while he works.

It’s these small, everyday moments of care that make our horses feel safe, comfortable and loved - even when no one is watching.

อีกหนึ่งก้าวเล็ก ๆ แต่เป็นก้าวที่มีความหมายกับเรามาก

300 followers แล้ว! เรารู้สึกซาบซึ้งและดีใจมากกับการสนับสนุนและความสนใจที่ทุกคนมอบให้เราตั้งแต่เปิดประตูต้อนรับทุกคน เราแทบรอไม่ไหวที่จะได้เห็น Clover Hill เติบโต และกลายเป็นส่วนสำคัญของชุมชนคนรักม้าที่เชียงใหม่และทั่วประเทศไทย

และเห็นได้ชัดว่า Landini ตื่นเต้นกับยอด 300 มากกว่าใครทั้งหมด

แด่การเริ่มต้นของสิ่งพิเศษที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้น

A little milestone, but one that means a lot to us.

300 followers already! We’re honestly overwhelmed by the support and excitement we’ve received since opening our doors. We can’t wait to see Clover Hill grow, and become a big part of the equestrian community here in Chiang Mai and across Thailand.

And clearly, Landini is more excited about 300 than anyone else.

Here’s to the beginning of something special.

ความจริงก็คือ ที่นี่ไม่มีใครอายุเกิน 25 ปี…ในหัวใจ

We keep getting asked if we cater to older students
The truth is, no one here is over 25… at heart.
