PADTS Chiang Mai

Week 7 - FOCUS.
We are two DTS’s joint together so this week we split up and concentrated on the focus of our DTS.
For Arise DTS it was a time full of learning how to share the Gospel and their testimony efficiently and effectively.

For the Performing Arts it was a week full of early morning exercise and dance practice so that we are ready for outreach. To use the Performing arts to spread the Gospel.

It was a very full on week.

What a fun week we had during week 6, it was FREEDOM week!!! 🎉We had the privilege of hearing our staff speak on different topics such as Fear, Shame, Unbelief, Rejection they shared their own personal struggles with these strongholds and how they saw break through in their own lives.
We also had our first talent night!!! We had everything from singing-dancing-stand up comedy. What a talented bunch of students!

Week 5- Relationships! Who is you neighbor and how do you love them? This week was full of so many revelations of loving God and from that relationship we can love others. We had such interactive teaching and many workshops giving us time to really reflect on our relationship with God. Such an amazing time!

Week 4- Repentance and Forgiveness! We had life changing teaching filled with revelation on the power of confession and how our sin hurts the heart of God.
We had time to confess our sins to one another, get rid of shame and darkness in our lives and welcome God's light and forgiveness into our hearts. We learnt how to take steps towards forgiving those who have hurt us and releasing the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness.

Week 3... WORLDVIEW 🌍!! We are a school of 26 from 20 different countries. We all have very different views of the world and so we have to learn how to have a biblical worldview. This week was full of such great teaching!!!

We have officially checked off week 3 of the Performing Arts/Arise DTS. And what an amazing week it was. We were blessed to have a guest speaker teaching on the topic of worldview and learning about biblical worldview. We also had the privilege to hear from the leaders of prayer room talk about the vision behind the prayer room here. Outside of classes we have been busy with staining the railings here and using our newly learned skit to bring joy to a local school. And there is always time to kick the soccer ball around.

Week 2 - Hearing God’s voice! 🗣👂

Probably the most life changing teaching you can receive. We had the privilege of having our very own Jun Kim as our guest speaker. The week was full of teaching on how to recognize the Lords voice, prophecy and was packed with activation times where we practiced getting prophetic words for one another. We learnt the importance of not only hearing God’s voice but obeying it!!!

What an amazing first week we’ve had! It’s been full of getting to know each other and learning about the Nature & Character of God. We have 17 students between the PADTS & Arise DTS from 12 different nations! Can’t wait to see what God is going to do over the following weeks. 😁

Does 6 months sound like too big of a commitment? Are you worried about spending that much time away from home? Are you wondering where the finances will come from to pay for the school?
