After an energetic day trekking around Chiang Mai’s temples, the handicraft markets, and the elephant camps, give yourself time to unwind and top up your suntan at our pool! Swim, relax and sunbathe – or sit and read a book, a glass of wine in hand, under the welcome shade of a parasol. The Centre of the Universe Chiang Mai Swimming Pool and Resort is a private swim club which also offers accommodation to tourists and other visitors. Nestled in the foothills of Doi Suthep mountain range, and surrounded by orchards, the Centre of the Universe is the perfect place to stay and swim in Chiang Mai. There are three detached Thai-style bungalows set in two acres of secluded gardens, with free access to our half-Olympic sized salt water pool
. Temporary club membership is offered to those staying in hotels, guest houses, and other accommodation without a swimming pool. With one of the few salt water swimming pools Chiang Mai has to offer, the resort is only 15 – 20 minutes drive (6.5 km, 4 miles) from the city centre

Easy access for wheelchair users from the car park to the pool, with specially designed changing/toilet facilities. We are featured on Access Thailand a website devoted to listing Thailand’s tourist attractions built, or modified, to meet the needs of those who are physically challenged. Our open air Restaurant and Bar provides welcome respite from the mid-day sun and offers a tempting range of food and drinks

We offer the following services: accommodation: swimming club membership for Chiang Mai residents; temporary membership for tourists and visitors; swimming lessons; licensed tour guide; birding tours for resident guests. Large car park (30 cars + motorcycles)

The swimming pool is open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm for 355 days of the year. There are three swimming pool sessions

SESSION ONE: 7:00 am until 10:00 am. Lap swimming
100 Baht per person per hour or buy 10 entries for 850 Baht. SESSION TWO: 10:00 am until 4:30 pm. Leisure swimming – swim, sunbathe, relax
120 Baht per person - 90 minutes
150 Baht per adult, 120 Baht for each accompanied child, - 2 hours
200 Baht per adult, and 120 Baht for each accompanied child, + 2 hours

Family price 2 adults and 2 children 600 Baht for the day

Individual discount cards for all day entrance to the pool (valid for 12 months)

800 Baht for 5 entries
1,500 Baht for 10 entries
2,500 Baht for 20 entries
4,000 Baht for 40 entries

SESSION THREE: 4:30 pm until 6:45 pm, Gates closed at 7:00 pm
