Thailand has just cut visa-free stays from 60 days to 30 days.
The Cabinet approved the change on 19 May 2026. It takes effect 15 days after publication in the Royal Gazette.

We've written up what's actually changing, why Thailand is tightening the rules (it's not only about tourism), and the Muay Thai ED Visa route we recommend for stays longer than 30 days.
