The first 2026 GT4 entry is in, and it's an Aston Martin with a strong pedigree and a strong driving squad confirmed.

Today was a tough one for Lleyton Dowsett , our Yaris OMR driver at Team NZ Motorsport. The Chiang Mai track wasn’t easy, and an early incident pushed him into a crash right after the start.

But every challenge is a lesson — and this experience will only make him stronger. 💪🔥
We’re proud of his determination and focus, and this is all part of our long-term plan for next year. Bigger goals, stronger mindset, and unstoppable progress.

While the result was not quite what we aimed for, today’s race delivered plenty of excitement. Both Graeme and Romain fought wheel-to-wheel, putting on a great show that fans truly enjoyed. 🙌 The battles on track brought plenty of energy and proved the spirit of racing is alive and strong in GT4.

We take valuable experience and points from Sepang and now look ahead to the next round. With continued effort and updates from conditions, we’re confident of coming back stronger. 💪🔥

The drivers reported that the car was not delivering the speed and balance expected, which limited overall performance. The engineering team is now reviewing data and set-up to identify the cause and ensure improvements for tomorrow. ⚙️📊

Despite the limitations, Graeme and Romain fought hard, bringing home important points and demonstrating resilience on a demanding track.

🏁 Team NZ Motorsport | Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand – Buriram 🏁

This year marks the first season for Lleyton Dowsett competing in the Toyota Yaris One Make Race (OMR), a new challenge for our 15-year-old driver as he continues to grow in Thailand’s motorsport scene.

On Saturday 13 September, at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Lleyton battled among 22 cars in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand event:
• Start Grid Overall: 17th
• Start Grid Division 2: 8th
• Finish Overall: 18th
• Finish Division 2: 9th

A strong debut showing and valuable learning experience in this highly competitive field. Each lap is part of the journey as Lleyton continues to adapt, improve, and push forward with Team NZ. 🚗💨

🏁 Team MZ Motorsport – GR Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand, Phuket 🏁

A fantastic day for our young driver, Lleyton Dowsett (15 years old), as he took on his very first street circuit in Phuket, behind the wheel of the Toyota Yaris OMR!

🔹 Qualifying: Lleyton impressed as the fastest driver in Division 2, which promoted him to compete in the highly competitive Division 1.

🔹 Race Recap: Starting from the very back of the Division 1 grid, Lleyton battled through the field with determination and skill, finishing in a strong P10.

✨ At only 15 years old and in his first year of racing experience, Lleyton continues to show remarkable improvement and a fearless spirit on track. This Phuket race is another milestone in his exciting motorsport journey.
