A trainer is a seasoned professional you’re enlisting for their expertise (which is essentially a culmination of the mistakes they’ve learned from during their own journey), enabling you to save time, sidestep injuries, and maximize the efficiency of your fitness endeavors.
A trainer should not only be an encouraging presence but also a prudent one. Their top priority should be their client’s well-being, valuing health above all else. A truly exceptional trainer comprehends the ‘when and why’ behind every exercise they recommend.

Recently I was listening to a podcast, as I quite often do during my downtime, and the topic was the reason that pushes guys to want to get as jacked as possible.
The two speakers were sharing about their journey into bodybuilding and eventually steroid use. They both had one reason in common, and that was being bullied as kids. Like many others, I also started for the same exact reason.
I can vividly remember how it felt to be unable to defend myself and be easily picked on as a child. Unfortunately, in my case, this would not only happen in the classroom or in the courtyard at school but would then continue in the household.
My desire to find a safe place where I could vent and at the same time build physical strength led me to the weightlifting room, and what eventually kept me going was pure habit and discipline, plus the desire to improve myself.
I never used enhancements, although I did reach a point where I considered the idea. However, I ultimately decided against it mainly due to concerns about potential health repercussions. Growing up, I had to deal with quite a few health issues, and I had no intention to bring more upon myself.
Today, as a grown man, I still find myself eager to grow and increase my size. This stems from the desire to see what I am capable of achieving since most of my past insecurities have been overcome, and weightlifting has significantly contributed to this progress.
What is often overemphasized in a fitness journey are the effects on the body, while what is completely underrated is the effects on one’s mental health.
Training is an absolute no-brainer; it is the best investment in your long-term health, both mental and physical.
