They'll experiment.
They'll fail.
They'll try again.
That's where real development begins.
Children rarely become exceptional because someone forced them to train.
They become exceptional because they couldn't wait to play again.
Enjoyment isn't the opposite of hard work.
It's often the reason hard work happens in the first place.
The greatest players didn't just love winning.
They loved the game enough to keep playing when nobody was watching.

One question for every coach and parent:

Would you rather have a child who wins every match at 10... or one who still can't wait to play football at 20?

⚽ One Team for the Day ⚽

Football is about competition, but it’s also about friendships, respect and creating opportunities for young players.

This week at the Copa Naka Tournament, some of our Rising Stars players joined forces with Elite FC to help form competitive U10 and U12 teams.

It was great to see players from different academies working together, supporting each other and enjoying the game.

The results were excellent, but more importantly the players represented themselves, their families and their clubs with pride throughout the day.

Well done to all the boys involved and thank you to Elite FC for the opportunity.

Many youth teams win because they are physically stronger, faster, or more mature than their opponents.
But football keeps changing.
The strongest 12-year-old is not always the strongest at 18.
The fastest player today may no longer have that advantage in a few years.
That's why Marcelo Bielsa's message is so powerful.
"Winning without developing is temporary. Developing guarantees future victories."
A youth trophy can be won in one season.
A football player is built over many years.
The greatest coaches don't ask only: "How can we win this weekend?"
They also ask: "Will today's training help this child become a better player five years from now?"
The best academies don't choose between development and winning.
They know that real development is what makes winning sustainable.
