Exciting day for this guy! Really hope he pulls it off!
John has a beautiful setup that many of us can/should copy. I put him here along with two other greats (you can guess the players below if you like).
John has been working hard with his Coach Noah these past years and it has taken him center stage! I
am certain he will stay for a while! One of my favorite swings!

Tip to all golfing parents… this excerpt is from Fred Shoemaker’s excellent book ‘Extraordinary Golf’. Fred’s book covers a lot of good coaching tips, along with some very simple golf swing tips.. You can find his book on Amazon. Well worth the read! Have a nice weekend y’all!!

THERE IS NO ONE WAY.....BUT!

How players want to respond to Golf's Physical Basics, is really up to each individual, there is no one way.

Golf's Physical Basics have not changed for over 500 years, but there is no one way to play or swing. There is always some latitude when it comes to learning golf, every golfer is an individual and information should be personalized, but an effective swing must meet the requirements of the physical basics of the game, and the field of play. Just any old swing or any old advice will not lead to control of ball flight.

Golf is a game that rewards
precision, therefore the more precision you can build into your
game and swing, the sooner you will be predicting the distance
and direction of your ball flight.
Players and coaches from every sport have always looked for ways to communicate information that would develop better learning
skills, and improve performances. In golf, that information must take the games environment (Physical Basics) into consideration.

Golf's Five Physical Basics:

1. The design of the club, i.e. the angles of a shaft, clubface, and head.
2. Golfers stand inside the target line and ball.
3. The ballistic properties of the compressible ball.
4. The elements of balance and time.
5. The field of play and ever changing playing conditions.
