Towed Water Sports included in again in the next edition of the World Games to be held in Germany in 2029!

Towed Water Sports are officially confirmed for The World Games 2029!

Joining 30+ sports, the Games will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, from 19–29 July 2029.
Discipline and medal details to be announced later this year.

The IWWF 2026 World Cablewakeboard & Wakeskate Championships are Heading to Beijing from August 8 to 15, at the iconic Shun Yi Olympic Cable Park!

The Championships will kick off on August 8, on the anniversary of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, bringing that Olympic energy to a week of world-class competition.

To encourage international participation, the Hong Kong, China Waterski Association(HKCWA) is offering an 85% accommodation subsidy (twin‑share, four nights, shared with another athlete) to the first five international federations that complete their registration. We are now closer to the Olympic Family

The IWWF has relocated from the United Kingdom to Switzerland, a strategic move designed to strengthen its ties with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the wider Olympic family.

Recognised by the IOC as the global governing body for towed water sports, IWWF represents athletes and national federations worldwide. The relocation to Lausanne, Switzerland, home to the IOC and more than 50 international sports federations, positions IWWF at the centre of international sport and supports its long-term ambition to secure inclusion in the Summer Olympic Games in Brisbane 2032.
