⭐ Mention of the Week
At the regular Monday evening Golftec indoor scramble Ronan Dalmasso was in the winning pair yet again - can he do it once more this week?
⭐ Course of the Week
Subhapruek! Despite all of the recent heavy rain Subhapruek was in great condition on Saturday - they have been investing and trying hard to improve the drainage and shake off their reputation of being a wet course, particularly in the rainy season - NO LONGER THE CASE! Bravo to the team.
🏆 Competitions in Progress
Augusto Romei Memorial Trophy
On Saturday at Subhapruek the match berween Thomas Howells v Howard Chen was played and it went to the 19th hole (yes Subhapruek has a real 19th hole) - where Tom made a par versus a bogey by Howard - so well played Tom - he will play the winner of Dave Ditchfield v Andrew Brown.
Then on Sunday at Silverlake Links Stephen Hurworth played against the 2025 champion Bruno Butragueno - it went down to the last hole with Stephen leading 1up and Bruno needing to make a birdie to win the hole - alas he made a double bogey so Stephen is the winner 2up - he will play Halmi Salim in the second semi final.
