This week was a special one...
My mum came all the way to the Maldives to experience what my life looks like here at Medhufushi.
Together we explored beautiful reefs, swam with turtles, spotted sharks, and spent our days surrounded by the ocean.
These are some of my favourite memories from the week 📸

Two islands. One life. 🌊
After one week of incredible dives — manta rays, sharks, the most insane reefs — it's time to discover the other side of my Maldives life.
Two ways to cross this crystal lagoon to Muli island and the EQ Surf Retreat — the surf boat with the team, or the ferry with views of the full reef stretching to the horizon.
Same crossing. Totally different experience. Both absolutely unreal. 🤙
White walls, green turf, palm trees… and the Indian Ocean as your backdrop from the rooftop.

🌊 A glimpse of my new life
A tiny island in the middle of the Indian Ocean… and somehow this is now my everyday view.
White sand beaches.
Crystal-clear lagoons.
Dive boats ready every morning.
And reefs full of life.
On my very first day diving here in the Maldives and as soon as I put my head underwater… manta rays gliding through the blue and huge sharks cruising the reef.
The video here is just from the pontoon near the restaurant — sharks and rays swimming in the shallow lagoon like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
Not a bad view walking to dinner.
The dive boat, the beach in front of my room, and this incredible island… this is my new office now 🤿🏝️
Next dives I’ll bring the GoPro… because if this was only day one, I can’t imagine what’s coming next.
