วันที่ ๒๓ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๙ กรม ทช. ออกคำสั่งกรม ทช. ที่ ๔๔๕/๒๕๕๙ เรื่องมาตรการ หลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไขในการระงับความเสียหายอย่างร้ายแรงต่อทรัพยากรปะการัง บริเวณ ๗ พื้นที่ ได้แก่
(๑) เกาะมันใน จ.ระยอง
(๒) เกาะทะลุ (๓) เกาะเหลื่อม จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
(๔) เกาะไข่ จ.ชุมพร
(๕) เกาะราชาใหญ่ (๖) แหลมพันวา (๗) เกาะไม้ท่อน จ.ภูเก็ต
โดยประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาแล้ว มีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ ๒๔ พ.ค. ๒๕๕๙ เป็นต้นไป จนกว่าความอุดมสมบูรณ์เข้าสู่สภาวะปกติ และความเสียหายระงับสิ้นไป
