Why you should do hard things👇
The reason I like doing challenging things through exercise is because they allow a playing field to practice doing the uncomfortable things in life.
It’s just one way of battling through what is often referred to as resistance.
If you think about most things that you aspire to have in life, more often than not there’s likely an element of resistance attached to it, or what I like to call “the suck”
👉Eating healthy is ‘hard’
👉Working on yourself is ‘hard’
👉Getting up early is ‘hard’
👉Being vulnerable is ‘hard’
👉Having tough conversations is ‘hard’
👉Speaking up Is ‘hard’
👉Not speaking up is ‘hard’
One of life’s greatest challenges and joys is overcoming the hard, so best you get practicing…

I was lucky to learn two massive lessons on the 100km car pull..
1️⃣No matter how well you think you prepared for something, there will ALWAYS be the uncontrollables. The one thing you can guarantee in life is that s**t is going to hit the fan, the important thing is how you respond when it does.
2️⃣The second is to not leave the boys from alone with your food.

I’m a big advocate of spending good quality time alone.
So much so that I often get referred to as odd or lonely.
I think in such a distracting world there’s really not much time where we are truely “alone”, and it’s in this aloneness where we can stop, reflect and grow as humans.
In my opinion spending time by yourself without distractions is how you stop reacting to life and start creating it.

Haven’t taken anytime off for a very long time… booked a trip to Thailand, tested positive at the airport and isolated for my holiday.
Got out of isolation, had two days off and realised, who the fu*k wants time off? I love what I do. Game on bi***es.
