I just held my breath and analysed AIDA Men’s Constant Weight (CWT) freediving data from 2024 versus 2025 and here’s what I found! 📊📉🤓🙃

I also had a look at the recent Top 10 Overall Ranking for AIDA Men’s (April 2026) and visualised the data in a similar heat-map format as I did for the Women’s!

I wondered who and when we will have the first freediver reach 1000 points! 🤔🤿 Any predictions?

For a Head-2-Head comparison across discipline between selected athletes, I think the Spider plot 🕷️ does the job to give a nice overview of performance across all disciplines!

Here I picked Torocsik (the benchmark and #1 Rank) & Hirose as a sample H2H comparison. Athletes with quite different profiles across the various disciplines.

With so many disciplines in freediving, I think these visual representations should be standardised when profiling athletes! 🤓

Today, I was curious whose the current leader in the Overall AIDA Women’s rankings (Data extracted from AIDA Rankings webpage 23rd of April 2026)

A heat map is the winning plot of choice for this type of data for me! 🤓🤿 Thought I would share it with the rest of the community! 🙃
