The Advanced Open water course consists of 5 Adventure dives and each one is packed with fun and knowledge in a different specialised area of scuba diving.✔️

Artificial dive sites are man made structures designed to divert tourism pressure from natural reefs while providing new habitats for coral and marine life.🐟

Students explore the engineering and ecology of sites like Junkyard Reef or Buoyancy World, learning how substrates are chosen to encourage coral settlement and fish recruitment.🦈

By training on these structures, Black Turtle Conservation helps regenerate degraded areas of Koh Tao, creating stepping stones for marine life between natural reef systems.😍

Completing the PADI Open Water course will give you a license to dive anywhere in the world, down to a maximum depth of 18 metres with a buddy.🤿

Black Turtle Dive visits Sail Rock dive site twice a week, on a Wednesday and Saturday, and offers a full day excursion to the Gulf of Thailand’s most famous offshore pinnacle. 🐳

Our trips include a two dive itinerary with breakfast and lunch on board, providing ample time to explore the site’s depths (up to 40m) and its incredible biodiversity of pelagic species.😍

Sail Rock is a biological magnet for Whalesharks and schooling Barracuda.
