Thanks to the explorers at the XDEEP Exploration Support Program, we are moving today to Kaatiala Mine, Kuortane, Finland, to refresh ourselves on the origins of the project, which continues and is still being developed.

The main goal of the Finland Underground project is to use advanced photogrammetric techniques to create a three-dimensional model of the Kaatiala mine in the municipality of Kurotane, Finland. This model will enable the provision of virtual cave interiors using augmented reality technology to both divers and non-divers. Thanks to the use of the latest 3D imaging technologies and image processing assisted by AI techniques, it will be possible to immerse oneself in exciting exploration, capturing even the smallest details.

I've been working with Justin and Kei for a few months now and I'm very happy to announce that they are now both -CCR 60m trimix divers!. Happy faces and a real sense of satisfaction all round celebrating a well earned certification. We had some amazing dives with a vast amount of life to look at. Congratulations, gents.
