In Ashgabat, 14 referees received a 2-3 stars classification

On November 23-29, as part of the XIV World Senior Kurash Championship, an international seminar and exams for Kurash referees and coaches were organized.
According to the Charter of the Championship, on the first day, experts from the International Kurash Institute conducted theoretical classes.
With the help of experienced specialists, 20 Kurash referees took part directly in the championship matches.
Testing and practical exams were completed under the guidance of a member of the Referee Committee of the International Kurash Association, Technical Director of the KCAO Koroush Khosrouyar.
According to him, 14 Kurash referees who received high marks received 2-3 star ratings.
On the last day of the championship, the Kurash referees were awarded certificates.

The European Kurash Championship will be held in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, Greece.Kurash Championship for adults and basic age groups will be held from October 13 to 16 this month in Thessaloniki. These competitions and WSP competitions will be held to identify the best of the green continent. The international refereeing and coaching course will be one of the other programs of these competitions.

The design of the official logo and medals of the XIV World Kurash Championship, which will take place in Ashgabat on November 23-28, has been approved and brought to public viewing.
In the center of the championship logo, there is an image of fighting Alabay dogs.
The Alabai dog breed is considered the most prestigious dog breed in Turkmenistan and is being developed at the national level.
The abstract shape of the globe behind the Earth indicates that this is a global competition. The globe is surrounded by a belt in the color of Kurash Yaktak.
The symbols of the World Kurash Championship reflect a distinctive and national design.
The placement of these symbols on the competition medals is also distinctive.
The souvenirs presented to the winners and prize-winners of the championship also feature the Alabay dog in the Turkmen national costume and a head-dress named Chugirma.

The Best confederation of the year in the development of Kurash is the Pan-American Kurash Union

Pan-American Kurash Union held the continental championship at a high level in various age categories throughout the year. Kayoko Moriyama from Japan is the best female referee of the year

Ms. Kayoko Moriyama has extensive experience in refereeing Kurash in Japan. She adequately conducted the World Championship competitions in Pune.

The Best female coach of the year - Dilfuza Rakhmatova, Uzbekistan.

The students of Dilfuza Rakhmatova, the Head Coach of the representatives of the homeland of Kurash players, won the first place in the accumulation of medals at the Asian Championship and the World Championship.

Guy Ambeto from Congo is the best male referee of the year.

Guy Ambeto adequately conducted the African Kurash Championship final as well as the World Championship in Pune. He has also achieved many achievements in the development of the referee system on the African continent.

Jeong Minwoo from South Korea is the best male coach of the year.

For the first time in the history of Kurash, South Korean team took 3rd place in the overall standings, winning 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals at the World Championships held in the city of Pune.
