المدرسة المكسيكية في الملاكمة تُعد واحدة من أشهر وأشرس مدارس القتال في التاريخ، ولها بصمة واضحة في الـ Boxing Style العالمي. تُعرف أيضًا باسم Mexican Style Boxing.
أهم ما يميز المدرسة المكسيكية
1) الهجوم المستمر (Pressure Fighting)
المكسيكيون لا يتراجعون.
أسلوبهم مبني على الضغط المستمر والدخول للمسافات القريبة، مع التضييق على الخصم حتى ينهار تحت الضغط.
2) القتال داخل المسافة القصيرة (Inside Fighting)
يتميزون بالقتال من مسافة pocket أو phone booth، حيث يعتمدون على:
• الضربات القصيرة
• الكومبوهات السريعة
• ضربات الجسم القوية
3) تركيز رهيب على ضربات الجسم (Body Shots)
هذه من أشهر علاماتهم.
الملاكم المكسيكي يُعرف بضرب Left hook to the body (الكروس اليساري إلى الكبد)، وهي ضربة أسقطت أفضل الملاكمين عبر التاريخ.
4) تحمل عالي جداً للضرر (Granite Chin)
تاريخياً، المكسيكيون يتمتعون بصلابة استثنائية، لا يستسلمون بسهولة، ويواصلون القتال حتى لو تلقوا ضربات قوية جدًا.
5) القلب الكبير (Fighting Spirit)
روح قتالية عالية—لا يتراجع، لا يستسلم، ويقاتل للآخر.
غالبًا يُقال: “Mexican warriors”.
6) الكومبوهات السريعة والمتواصلة
أسلوبهم يعتمد على:
• سلسلة من 3–6 ضربات
• البدء بضربة للرأس ثم الهبوط للجسم
• إنهاء الهجمة بضربة قوية “power shot”
7) موقف هجومي (Aggressive Stance)
يقفون بثبات، يحمون الرأس، ويركزون على التحرك للأمام أكثر من المراوغة.

كيف تتدرب بأسلوب المدرسة المكسيكية؟
1) تمارين الضغط المستمر
• الدخول للأمام ثلاث خطوات مع ضربات
• تدريبات الجدار (Wall Drill) على تقليل المسافة
2) ضربات الكبد
• اليسارية المنخفضة أثناء الانزلاق للداخل
• تكرارها يوميًا مع الحقيبة
3) تجهيز الجسم للتحمل
• تمارين البطن المكثفة
• تدريبات ضرب البطن الخفيفة (abs conditioning)
4) الكومبوهات المكسيكية الشهيرة
مثل:
• 1–2–3 to the body
• jab → right → left hook to the liver
• uppercut inside + hook
5) التواجد داخل المسافة (Inside Work)

From October 16 to 19, 2025, Tijuana became the epicenter of world amateur boxing with the first edition of the "Green and Gold World Tournament," endorsed by the WBC Amateur Committee. Coordinated by promoter Monroy González and supported by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the National System of Amateur Boxing Schools (SNEBA), the event set a historic precedent in the region. The opening ceremony was attended by legend Julio César Chávez, while the final awards ceremony was led by historic world champion Jackie Nava.
The championship brought together 350 boxers from 15 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Africa. Prominent delegations included Mexico (host), Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, the United States, Nigeria, Uganda, Venezuela, Paraguay, Switzerland, Chile, Costa Rica, and Panama. Competitions took place in three age and weight categories: Children (13-14 years old), Youth (15-17 years old), and Elite (18-32 years old).
The tournament enjoyed extensive institutional support: Mayor Ismael Burgueño provided facilities, lodging, and food for the athletes, in collaboration with IMDET and CONADE, ensuring that logistics allowed for a high-level event.
The matches at the Tijuana Municipal Auditorium kept the audience on the edge of their seats. In the women's division, Valeria "La Flakita" Pérez (Mexico) shined, becoming the Green and Gold amateur world champion for the seventh time after winning by knockout. Also standing out was Tijuana native Nicole Ángeles, who defeated Daisy Gómez of Argentina by split decision.
In the men's division, local boxers made their presence felt: Tijuana natives such as Víctor Fernando "El Cachorro" Valderrama, Ángel "Gallito" Hilario, Abi García, and Oscar Castro were crowned world champions. Other champions came from different parts of Mexico: Mariana Monsalvo, Martín Iglesias, Nadine Castelán, Sarahí Pérez, Ángel Gabriel, Guadalupe Torres, and Jesús Regalado.
During the awards ceremony, the champions received WBC belts, while the runners-up were recognized with commemorative medals. The historic Jackie Nava played a prominent role, personally presenting several awards to the winners.
