GO BIG GO BEYOND | Nelson, NZ. Hunting fish in the deepest of seas to the shallowest of streams. International Guiding Offshore Adventures

Massive amounts of condition on this South Pacific Blue that led us to victory on 30 # in the Tongan International Billfish Tournament.

One of the largest Kingfish I’ve gone up against on the casting gear. A ripper scrap on the saltiga which saw a lot of drag applied and plenty of hand + spool action. Looking forward to flicking some baits around for some more of this action off the transom of Tracker.

Grateful to have recently spent a bit of time exploring one of the planet’s most untouched fisheries, Vava’u Tonga. Super stoked to take out the win in the 31st Tongan International Billfish Tournament alongside my good mate and crewman . Plenty more to share from this unreal adventure in the South Pacific.

Can’t beat a glass off, offshore. With summer on the horizon, here’s hoping for more days like this, where we can flat stick the Yamaha, utilise the Simrad, and cruise home in comfort with the Huntsman! A super memorable Kingy this one, putting the Saltiga through its paces big time!

With the warmer weather slowly making itself known, the focus moves towards the big pelagics that’ll present themselves in our waters very soon. This big sickled Yellowfin remains my PB, and was the result of our first day on the water with Tracker. Since then, with the help of Simrad electronics and Yamaha Helm Master EX, Tracker has racked up a pretty impressive talley of fish. Can’t wait to get back into the NZ Game Season.

I was honoured to host my very good friend & mentor on a Big Kingfish expedition earlier this year. We spent a week out there amongst it utilising all the amazing tech onboard Tracker. Edward, as per usual, smashed a heap of superb quality Kingies, including this ripper on the light tackle. The Simrad NSS4 was essential for tracking down these Kingies on a tricky moon phase. Can’t wait to get the big man back on the water again sometime soon!!

A ripper Northland Snapper caught and released, courtesy of Daiwa Spartan x TD Sol. This was my first time having Tracker up in the far north, and boy did the Huntsman preform well! The Simrad NSS4 was dialled in whilst the Yamaha held us in the zone.

Free boat rides for kingies on Tracker! (Must be 120cm+) Tracker out there in its element, putting us on quality Kingfish over and over again. Simrad NSS4 providing us with powerful fish finding capabilities, whilst Yamaha Helm Master EX holds us in the zone. Saltiga 14k x Breakthrough doing what it does best.

Fun times with .fish, getting amongst some healthy South Island Snapper, whilst utilising the new NSS4 in deep water! Can’t wait to get back out on the water to chase down a few larger reds!
