When there’s a will, there’s a way!

Laipeli Ulavalu has always found a way to offer a fun and engaging table tennis experience for all his participants, making tables from what he has to work with and creating a safe space for everyone to have fun!

Today we say goodbye to Justin as he finishes his time with the Tonga Table Tennis Federation.

Over the past year, Justin has been much more than a contributor to our programs — he has been present, involved, and invested at every level. From working directly with our players and coaches to supporting events and daily operations, he has been hands-on and fully committed to helping us move forward.

The relationships he built within our table tennis community have been genuine and meaningful. He took the time to listen, to understand, and to support — and that has made a lasting difference. Because of his efforts, we’ve strengthened important connections and created new ones that will continue to grow in the years ahead.

Within our organization, Justin has been a steady and reliable source of encouragement and support. He was always willing to step in, share ideas, help solve problems, and back up his teammates. His calm approach and positive attitude lifted those around him and helped create a stronger, more united team.

We are truly thankful for the time, energy, and heart he has given to our federation. His impact has been felt not just in the work that was done, but in the people he has supported along the way.

Justin, thank you for walking alongside us this past year. You leave with our appreciation, our respect, and our very best wishes for what comes next.

Leaving no stone unturned. Leaving no one behind.

Our Development Officers are back in schools and centres across the Kingdom of Tonga, delivering our Smash Down Barriers program.

This program is a powerful reminder that everyone has a place in our society — regardless of gender, ability, or background. Together, we are building inclusive communities where every individual is valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
