Sight Running Istanbul

Last night 6 colleagues joined us for an after-work run through the Historical Peninsula — and we added a little salt to it with a coastal stretch along the Bosphorus, the Asian side of Istanbul right across the water keeping us company. Ancient cobblestones, sea breeze, two continents. Not a bad Monday, huh?

We welcomed Zhou, our first guest from China 🇨🇳 for an early morning run through Istanbul’s Historical Peninsula. From centuries old monuments to refreshing banks of the Bosphorus, every step was a journey through the city’s rich heritage.

Our first guest from Singapore 🇸🇬 Erica joined us on a sunny Istanbul morning for a scenic Karaköy run. We enjoyed the stunning coastline, passing iconic 19th-century buildings and monuments—ending the route the best way possible: with a strong Turkish coffee, such a fresh start to the day.

Our first Italian guest took on an epic run with us, covering nearly the entire Marmara coast all the way to the Black Sea! With spring approaching, it was the perfect way to refresh and pick up the pace for the season ahead. Fast, scenic, and unforgettable!

Sophie and Michael, a friendly and lovely couple from the 🇺🇸, joined us for a refreshing 6k running tour through the Historical Peninsula. We soaked in the rich history and vibrant culture with every step, finishing off with some well deserved espresso shots and a lot of food recommendations. 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting Dana and Alex from the 🇺🇸. They made the most of their short stay with back-to-back early morning runs, exploring both the Historical Peninsula and the banks of the Bosphorus. A perfect blend of history and scenic beauty.

Sometimes you can’t get enough of the Bosphorus, so you complete a half marathon distance. Last Sunday, we ran 21 kilometers with Jeanne from the 🇿🇦 along the banks of the mighty Bosphorus, embracing the challenge of wind and rain. ̇stanbul
