The World Motocross Championship (MXGP) is a competition where elite athletes compete fiercely... The championship consisting of 19 legs; It is held in 15 different countries in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

The organization, which includes world-famous motorcycle factory teams (KTM, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Husqvarna), is among the 10 most popular sports in the world.

While the championship is broadcast live or on tape in more than 180 countries by over 50 broadcasters around the world, it makes a great contribution to country promotions.

More than 200 athletes from nearly 40 countries are sweating in the championship held in the MXGP (World Championship), MX2 (World Junior Championship), MXWomen (World Women's Championship) and EMXOpen (European Championship).



The World Motocross Championship, which is among the most popular sports races in the world and among the top 10 favorite branches in the average audience, is one of the two most important organizations of the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM).



The 1-minute promotional film of the organization, called 'Post Card', is broadcast on world-renowned television channels such as Eurosport, CBS, Fox Sports Network, Nos TV, Beinsport MENA, AXP, Sina Sports, Motosport TV, and contributes greatly to the promotion of Turkey and Afyonkarahisar.



Afyonkarahisar received the "Best Technical Infrastructure" award in the first year of the World Motocross Championship, which was organized for the first time in 2018.

It won the "Best Paddock" award in the organization it hosted for the second time in 2019
