Hi guys. Thank you for the turnout this afternoon, the kids were definitely on a mission today ๐Ÿ˜ great fun had by all. Numbers down a little with school holidays so we welcomed Jessica, Jack, Colton, Noah and Lily-Mae in for a class. Rory and his pals were full of the usual tomfoolery at 4pm ๐Ÿต We had the kids using the hoops working on getting that touch perfect which they are great at. We had a cracking penalty shootout at 4.45pm with Dominic and Leighton pulling off some great saves. And well done to AJ who took the first steps on the coaching ladder at 6.15pm ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽ“โšฝ He's been on at me for weeks to play ChickenDuckHero or whatever it's called ๐Ÿ˜† Tonight I'm like batter in and you set it up. The kids seemed to enjoy it to be fair. Well done kids, top class as usual โœ…

I say it all the time but it's so true, it's just the perfect start to the week with our Monday morning classes in Whitehill with our 9.15am and 10.15am kids. Schools off so big ones kicking around which I love. The big yins like Oscar and Molly are just as important as wee Arran and Tommy. We are a football family, community, call it what you want โค๏ธ We had the Union Bears โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™ and Tartan Army ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ in at 9.15am, great to see Benni back with Hughie and, another good week for Alexander โœ… just the 21 kids at 10.15am ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† we always manage and Jenna and Molly were Last Girls Standing ๐Ÿ‘ฏ Skipper this morning was Hughieโญ and SOTD were Alexander๐Ÿฅ‡ and Charlie๐Ÿฅ‡ Well done kids ๐Ÿ‘

Troops this popped up on my FB memories from 2022. My last shift in Morrisons. Crazy to think of all they mad nightshifts then grabbing an hour's sleep before classes. 21 years I worked in Salvo as it was first known when I started. Met some of the best people in there, salt of the earth ๐ŸŒŽ Plodding away in that freezer at 3am in -25 ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿ˜† Or doing something I love at Soccerbopperz. Not even a choice.

A few things happened in 2022, I thought life's too short. Took the jump and never looked back. Best decision of my life โค๏ธ

So we're saying farewell for now to Harry from our Friday 5.30pm class. As I say hopefully just for a wee bit. Harry joined us in September 2024 and literally didn't open his mouth for 6 months. Now he doesn't shut up ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† I actually love it as it shows how confident he's become and how he's a huge part of the group. But sometimes kids change. They go through spells they're up for it and spells where they don't fancy it. They're kids and it happens. Harry does make me laugh though and his football skills have improved a lot. The doors never closed Harry boy. Hopefully just cheerio for a wee bit buddy ๐Ÿ’™

Hi guys. Classes ON as normal this week. Obviously schools are off so class numbers will be down a bit with people away. So if kids fancy doing extra classes then that won't be a problem. Also the brothers and sisters will be tagging along in the morning with the wee ones so they're always more than welcome to join in โšฝ

Just let me know about extra sessions and I'll sort a time for you.

That's another week of football wrapped up with our Saturday classes at FIVES this morning. Class numbers were top notch with the dodgy weather. I honestly thought numbers would be down with the school hols and the gloomy weather so to have 42 kids over the 3 hours is brilliant. Delighted to see Alfie and Jack back at 9.45am, wee Rocco came along for a look ๐Ÿ‘€ plus extra classes for Jude, Elsie, Meila and Emily. We had some Haaland's Heroes ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด some attackers/defenders drills, Ragnar was Last Man Standing ๐Ÿ•บ and we had some cracking matches. Wee Noah and Elsie are absolutely flying at the moment ๐Ÿ”ฅ and quote of the day went to the bold Harry at 9am. I'm making my way into the pitch at precisely 8.55am with the footballs, 5 minutes early I may add. Harry blurts out "you took your time" ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† no bother Harry.

Saturday morning captains today were

I popped out for 2 minutes today to see Louie, Logan and Ellis at the Benfica coaching session on another pitch. I walked by 2 dads who were talking about our classes and said what a laugh they looked ๐Ÿ˜† They were talking about a wee guy doing the moonwalk as he went to score ๐Ÿ•บ That just sums up the madness and the fun that is SB โšฝ Kids can just be themselves. Lunatics running the asylum ๐Ÿต Was nice to hear ๐Ÿงก

How you doing guys โ˜บ๏ธ I need to say I'm bloody sick of this rain on a Friday afternoon ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ก the poor 4.45pm kids got it again. Didn't stop them though which is great ๐Ÿ’ช Numbers down a wee bit today with lots away on holiday with schools finishing up, totally understandable. So still a good turnout with 31 kids over our 4 classes. We've been working on different attacking/defending drills which have got potential โšฝ shooting drills at 4.45pm with Arlo in goals diving around mad ๐Ÿต lots of dribbling and shooting combos in our ASN class at 6.15pm and I honestly laugh at the kids at times and how the class dynamics change at times. We've had Leo at SB for a couple of years now. Leo's a quiet lad, never a minutes bother and a great player. He's recently moved to a Fri afternoon and he's bumped into his school pal Jack. Absolute bedlam with the 2 of them ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† I secretly love it watching Leo grow in confidence. Jack's the same tbh. Didn't open his mouth for 6 months now he doesn't shut up ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† I love it โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ’™

Last one for Eunson the other day in our Wednesday 4.45pm class, I'm really sad to see the wee man go as were the kids when I told them ๐Ÿ˜ข Eunson joined us back in March 2023 and I can honestly say there's not a week in 3 and a half years he's not made me smile ๐Ÿ˜Š He makes me laugh, drives me crazy kicking my footballs into the carpark, his wacky patter and jokes ๐Ÿต He's just got an ability to make everyone smile. Eunson has become one of the main kids in the class and he'll be missed. The wee man's into his music and sometimes it's time to try something new, big world out there ๐ŸŒŽ But we've been a better class having Eunson with us over the last 3 years ๐Ÿ‘ Good luck buddy ๐Ÿ’™
