If Friday classes gave me PTSD then Saturday classes restored my faith in humanity 😭 😚 4 absolute breezes this morning at FIVES. Few kids missing due to football festivals and holidays so numbers were just perfect. Good opportunity to get to work with the newer kids and get to know them a wee bit better

World Cup fever has gripped everyone so we had all the different strips on show todsy. Scotland (obviously) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Mexico 🇲🇽 Argentina 🇦🇷 Portugal 🇵🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸 to name a few. We had Scotland vs the rest of the world at 9am and Last Man Standing winners were Theo, Aaron, Lucas and Elijah who all won world cup stickers 😚 We had the kids having as many touches of the ball as possible with dribbling games and mazes and we had Team Spongebob 💛 vs Team Barbie 🩷 which gave us all a laugh 😂 The kids all wished Conlan a happy 5th birthday 🎈Ashton had tattie scones for his breakfast and we all shared my packet of Squashes. Plus Thomas and Luke had their best week. Well done kids ✨

Thanks for the turnout today guys, another Friday feast of football at FIVES Hamilton, 44 kids over our 4 classes this afternoon ⚽

Absolute chaos at 4pm, it's not often I'm speechless 😶 lol. Most of the kids didn't have their listening ears on and intent on winding each other up. Hooligans 🙉 I know kids are kids and they all come to football excited but most of them were told straight, that's plenty ✋We had a wee team bonding chat half way through, we ditched the plans and it was straight into a game. If I break my no alcohol stint this weekend then you know why 😄😄

We had debuts for Lana and Lucy at 4.45pm who were great. Lucy's bro Harry was one of our original stars 10 years ago plus we had Ella as well so it was amazing to see them all. Everything just simple and fun, just about doing the basics better all the time. Louie is on fire 🔥 at the moment, such a high standard ⚽

First 5.30pm class for Finley, absolutely no bother at all. Evan and Karson joined us, Finn is flying ⚽⚽⚽ we tried some positional games which went okay plus more dribbling and going in different directions and a wee quieter ASN class at 6.15pm where Connor was Last Man Standing🧍‍♂️Well done troops 👍

Hi guys. As you know we've got our ASN classes which are a complete hit, the kids and parents are sensational. We've got a wee opening on a Tuesday night at 7pm at FIVES Hamilton and I'm looking at the possibility of running an ASN class throughout the summer. If it goes well then maybe it could be a permanent fixture on the Soccerbopperz schedule

I'm looking at primary school ages, boys and girls and the class would be 45 mins long. Obviously we'd start off low with numbers so spaces would be limited. Classes would start on Tues 7th July and run right throughout the summer holidays ☀️

One thing we can all agree on is there's not enough clubs and activities out there for kids who need that wee bit extra time, help and support. Honestly if there were more days in the week then I'd have more ASN classes on the go. They are just amazing 😍

Troops some exciting news, Soccerbopperz is going back to school 🏫😂⚽

Lots of the local schools put on health weeks for the kids which is great. Your health is your wealth and getting good habits into the kids is so important. So I'm delighted to announce the SB vengabus 🚌 will be on tour and we'll be going into the following schools over the next few weeks

High Blantyre Primary - Monday 8th June
Woodhead Primary - Thursday 11th June
Woodside Primary - Friday 19th June
St'Peters Primary - Monday 22nd June

We'll be putting some SB fun and games on for the nursery and school kids which I'm really looking forward to. I think half of the kids in Hamilton and surrounding areas have been at SB at some point so I dare say I'll see lots of familiar faces.

Always good to do something a little different and spread the good word of Soccerbopperz 😚

Thank you for the turnout this morning guys, 2 busy wee classes in Hillhouse. All the wee ones at 9.15am are doing great, week 2 for Grayson, Joey was Last Man Standing🧍‍♂️and Arthur was loving being in goals 🥅

Our 10.15am kids were on this morning, honestly the domestics between some of them is like watching EastEnders 📺😂 I actually heard Jamie saying Derek just called us sweetiewives 😄😄😄 Jake has settled in superbly, Jacob was loving being in goals and Ryan was Last Man Standing🧍‍♂️That wee guy is unbelievable with a ball, just effortless with a ball. And we've got future TV stars in Beau and Cobi who are going to be in Balanory 📺😂 Well done kids 💙

Highlights of the morning was one of the mum's who shall remain nameless (Gemma) pinging a scissor kick half volley and nearly wiping out Jamie and Beau 😄😄😄 In fairness the ball bounced absolutey perfect for the strike ⚽ High viz and clipboard next week for a risk assessment 📋 😚

Thanks for the turnout today guys, wee bit on the quieter side with the brilliant Scottish summer weather 🌧️ lol The sky just went black around half 4 and you knew what was coming. Absolutely soaked but we pushed on through 💪 First one for Vinnie at 6.15pm who was great. We actually had the wee man back in the day but a worldwide pandemic put paid to that 😢 We had to finish sharp with the 4pm kids as the heavens opened ☔ Junior has settled in so well, best week yet for Jordan and Harrison and only Ellis, Logan, Jack and Kairo at 5.30pm so that turned into a mini group session which went really well. Me launching footballs at them perfecting that first touch plus 2 and 3 touch shooting drills. Well done troops 🧡

The bold Thomas got pelters at 6.15pm for turning up to football in June wearing gloves 🧤 absolute sacrilege. Classes 14 and 15 of the week this morning in Hillhouse. Wednesdays can be a bit mad at times but today passed off without incident 😄 Delighted to have Annie back with us 👱‍♀️ she wasn't long in showing the boys how it's done ✅ It's amazing as we had Annie's big bro Charlie with us 10 years ago when we kicked off SB⚽ The wee ones at 10.15am are improving every week, best week yet for Oran and Logan, Kieran joined us at 9.15am and some dribbling drills working on the wee ones technique with the ball ⚽ A good wee morning that 🩷 Captains this morning were Freddie⭐ and Tommy⭐ and SOTD were Colby🥇 and Oran🥇

Mind you a lot of the kids were wired 🚀😄 maybe a full moon last night 🌙 Everything with a ball today getting as many touches of the ball in as possible, all the new faces are doing so well, Arron was Last Man Standing 🤴 we had Darren in goals for some shooting drills in our Reach Autism class, Daniel won the opposites challenge and I'm over the moon with Ronin who had his first outdoor class at 5.30pm ❤️ wee fella was great. And I only pulled Kai up once tonight which is a new world record 😄😄😄 And we've now to refer to Lyle as Boaby the barman 🍺😄 Well done kids ✨

Another fab morning of football with the wee ones in Hillhouse with our 9.15am and 10.15am classes. Wee Abi has taken to things no bother at all, we had the kids dribbling through obstacles getting them as many touches of the ball as possible, Euan was Last Man Standing 🤴 plus Ronin and Logan were throwing themselves around like mad in goals 😄 Well done kids 💙

Thank you so much for the turnout today guys, 49 kids over our 4 classes is exceptional. We had a couple of light showers 🌧️ but nothing major, if anything it cooled us down a little. I know I always speak about how well the kids are doing and the improvement is there for all to see but the standard over the 4 classes today was sky high ✅ every single kid is absolutely flying with a ball ⚽ Jack had his first Monday class and was great, he's one who's ready for the step up. Hunners of dribbling games today working on the kids touch and technique, everything fun and simple but at literally 💯 mph. I love it, short and sharp and onto the next drill. And we've had a few new faces at 6.15pm recently but I thought Forbes, JJ and Oliver had their best week. Well done troops 👍

We always have a blether at the start of each class, just all of us talking random rubbish 😄 Tonight at 6.15pm the chat was musical taste. Most of the kids have the Michael Jackson bug just now which I love. Respect to Scott who's into Oasis and wee Forbes who likes ......... ACDC 😄😄😄 I did not expect that. Each to their own pal 🎸
