We are honored to invite the global Aikido community to Ankara, Turkey, for a very special milestone. The 14th International Aikido Festival will be held from May 13-17, 2026, dedicated to the cherished memory of Nobuyoshi Tamura Shihan.

This year, we are expecting an extraordinary gathering of 350 practitioners from over 20 different nations, coming together to share the mat in the spirit of harmony and technical excellence at METU and Bilkent University.

Zōri - Tamura Sensei’den Gelen Sessiz Mesaj

Tamura Nobuyoshi Sensei’nin Nebi Vural’a hediye ettiği zōri’ler yalnızca maddi bir eşya değil, derin bir manevi anlam taşımaktadır. Japon Budo geleneğinde, bir ustanın öğrencisine zōri vermesi, ona artık bu yolu yürümesi için güven duyduğunu ifade eder.
Bu tür bir hediye şu mesajı taşır: “Bu yol artık senin ayak izlerinle devam edecek.”

Zōri, ‘yol’ anlamına gelen “dō” kavramının bir simgesidir. Bu armağan, yalnızca bir teşekkür değil, aynı zamanda sorumluluğun, bağlılığın ve aktarımın sessiz bir göstergesidir.

Les zōri offerts par Tamura Nobuyoshi Sensei à Nebi Vural ne sont pas de simples sandales, mais un symbole profond et silencieux de confiance et de transmission.
Dans la tradition du Budo japonais, offrir des zōri à un élève signifie : « Le chemin continue désormais avec tes pas. »

Le mot « zōri » devient ici l’image du « dō » – la voie. Ce présent n’est pas un simple cadeau, mais un acte qui engage, une reconnaissance silencieuse de la responsabilité à venir.

Le fait que Tamura Sensei ait écrit à la main « Nébi VURAL 様 » montre un respect personnel et une relation sincère. Ce geste incarne une confiance rare et un legs spirituel silencieux.

田村信喜先生がネビ・ヴラル氏に贈った草履は、単なる履物ではなく、深い精神的な意味を持っています。武道の伝統において、師が弟子に草履を贈ることは、「この道をあなたが歩んでいく」という信頼の証です。
