Carp Fishing On Koyçegiz Lake Turkey

Just had seven days fishing on the lake it's been pretty hard at times,we fished several areas around the lake so here's a run down of the week.
Day 1 we fished two areas donkey Island and JP Island, these areas hadn't been baited so unfortunately we didn't catch,
Day 2 we planned to spend a full day at a known hot spot prison island but we struggled only having one fish and losing one up to dinner so we decided to move to pinti point for the afternoon were we had three fish and lost three,
Day 3 we returned to prison island as we had baited it again but yet again a known hot spot didn't produce just one fish in the morning,
Day 4 we returned to JP Island but only had two fish so we moved again to golden bay and had a another two fish,
Day 5 we went to Charlie's corner we had 5 fish and lost two the biggest being 23 lb so lighty baited on leaving to return the day after.
Day 6 back to Charlie's corner we had 9 fish and lost two the biggest being 28lb,
Day 7 the final day it had to be back to Charlie's corner,
A fish in the first ten minutes, was it going to be a good day, no that was it so at dinner time we decided one last move to see if we could find a big one
So down to king Charles bay it was but only one more fish, so the week ended on 29 carp caught around 10 lost to the w**d
Had a great time met new friends and we'll be back out on this fantastic 13000 acre lake again soon

Well I've been out 3 times since opening day not had a fish yet lost one today, it was 23 degrees at 5am and and 35 degrees this afternoon it's hard going but somebody has to do it

Had a great couple of nights on the lake, unfortunately no fish 4 runs but nothing developed,
So lots of carp jumping, it was a new spot to me so might be worth revisiting in the future.

Been a hard season so far

Went out today on the lake very quiet had this one in the first half hour but that was it 14lb

First fish of the season not a big on at eleven and half pound but welcome all the same

I've just had 4 days fishing on the Lake at koycegiz
On day one we set out at 7 am, we hadn't pre baited so we were going in blind, we fished the same area as last year and did well. We put six rods out and the captain of the boat made breakfast and after an hour Paul had his first run, a lovely 24.30lb common, after that all went quiet until late afternoon when I had a run and a 20.30lb common was in the net.

We made the decision to pre bait this area and leave it for a few days,
On day two we went blind again looking for the bigger fish but after a couple of hours we had 5 runs and landed 3
But nothing over ten pounds.
We moved position to see if we could locate anything bigger but the rain came for 2 hours and nothing was caught.
On day 3 we went back to the location we pre baited on day one hoping that the bigger fish might be there,
Well what a day we had... 23 runs and 18 caught,
We had a double run which both were landed.
Then later Paul was putting the rigs out in the zodiac and we had a triple run it was unbelievable. Unfortunately none of the fish were over 16lb but all were in pristine condition.
We decided to move again for day 4 hoping for the bigger fish but it didn't happen 4 runs produced 3 fish around the 10lb mark so 26 fish in 4 days wasn't a bad effort I would like to thank Paul for the invite and Gurol the captain for the boat and the excellent food provided.
