FIM (Uluslararası Motosiklet Federasyonu) Halkla İlişkiler Direktörü Christopher Hodder, IMRSC24 Uluslararası Motosiklet Yol Güvenliği Kongresi'nde FIM'in güvenlik ve çevre konularında yaptığı çalışmaları sundu.

Sunumunda, motosikletçiler için kaliteli eğitim, uygun ekipman ve iyi yol koşullarının sağlanmasının önemini vurguladı. Ayrıca, kullanıcıların motosikletlere entegre edilen yeni güvenlik teknolojilerine (ARAS) olan ilgisine de dikkat çekti.

ARAS, "Advanced Rider Assistance Systems" ifadesinin kısaltmasıdır. Bu sistemler, çarpışma tespiti, şerit takip yardımı, uyarlanabilir hız sabitleyici ve kör nokta izleme gibi özelliklerle motosiklet güvenliğini artırmayı amaçlar. ARAS, teknolojiyi kullanarak sürücülere çeşitli durumlarda yardımcı olarak kazaları azaltmayı ve sürüş deneyimini iyileştirmeyi hedefler.
