Akeal who plays for the Preysal Valley Boys has been in remarkable form this season. Great Things to come from this 14 year old.

Last weekend the Preysal Valley Boys came out with all pistons firing like a brand new engine in the 7th. & final round league fixture against Mc Bean Sports at the Mc Bean Rec. Grounds in the TTCB CZ Div. 2.
Looking for a Mathematical chance to finish at the top of the table. The Preysalians bowled out Mc Bean for 129 in their 1st. Innings as youth Sensation Aneal Rooplal took another 5-wicket haul with 5 for 15, also among the wickets was Avinash Jaggernauth 3/38 & Dinesh Basdeo 2/20, in their turn at the crease PVB knocked up a massive 375 all out with a 83 ball 120 from Vekash Rambharose & a well supported 77 from Anil Rooplal. Facing a lead of 246 runs Mc Bean were steering their ship for draw but then came Aneal Rooplal with another 5 wicket haul this time he took 5-43 for his 2nd 10 wicket match haul of the season for match figures of 10 for 58.
PVB Secured victory by an Innings & 76 runs. However, the 27 points was good to reach them only to 3rd. Place with 120 points in the league, one point behind Sital Felicity Sports & 8 points by winners Centric Academy 1.
Man of the match was Aneal Rooplal who also took 48 wickets in the tournament.
The Preysalians next look forward for the T-30 & T-20 Tournaments in the TTCB CZ which bowls off this weekend.

The Preysal Valley Boys closed in on the Top of the table standings of the TTCB CZ Div. 2 tournament over the weekend as they whipped Renoun Sports by an Innings & 43 runs at the Couva Recreational Grounds in their round 5 fixture putting themselves in 2nd. place with 86 points 13 behind leaders Centric Academy 1 (99) who remains unbeaten this season.

The Preysalians took first strike and batted out the entire 1st. Day & made 300/7 with a powerful 80 of 49 balls by Avinash Jaggernauth which contained 17 fours & 1 six, also among the runs was Dinesh Basdeo with 73 of 60 balls.

On the resumption of play on the 2nd & final day (Sunday) PVB declared on the overnight score & sent in Renoun who were bowled out for 148 with Terrel Coombs top scoring with 53, Parasram Naipaul took 4-32 & Dinesh Basdeo 3-33, the Preysalians enforced the follow-on & sent in Renoun, this time around they were bowled out for 109 with young sensation Aneal Rooplal taking 4-19 of 4.5 overs, giving the Preysalians the bonus points.
Man of the match was awarded to Dinesh Basdeo the captain of PVB.
