Time flies. Today I am remembering Ajoupa Pottery. For those who don’t know, “Ajoupa” means shelter or home. We made these small sculptures from clay in the very early days of Ajoupa Pottery here in Chicklands. Made from the earth of Trinidad they were very similar to the clay and tapia houses of old times.

We haven’t posted for awhile, we’ve been busy. The rain is here, we have some big bags of cow manure and the garden is getting some much needed attention. There are lots of birds and lovely blossoms to see and quiet places to sit and relax. Call and make an appointment to visit. (And bring your insect repellent!)
