When I talk to clients about increasing their protein intake, their first thought is usually animal protein but there are many plant base options that can meet your body's protein needs and satisfy a palette with a high demand for taste.

Getting your daily protein need via food and not supplements can be a little intimidating and exhausting.
Adding a sprinkle of the little protein giant, chia seeds, is a quick and easy way to add little bit of protein to your salads, stews and porridge that will easily get you to your total protein grams daily.

Don't Throw The Baby Out With The Bath Water.

You know how the saying goes. It's applicable to us who are trying to eat right but will power just ain't got ya back!

Every yield to temptation opens the flood gate of guilt and self-disappointment, so much so you feel that all effort is lost for the day because of that one moments 'sweetness'.

Here are a few tips to salvage your day in hopes of avoiding throwing away the opportunities of healthy eating for a day (the baby) because of one moment's weakness (the bath water):

1. Start your day as healthy and as clean as you can. If you know super indulgence awaits you at lunch time, be extra picky about your breakfast choices. Load up on high fiber, high protein foods. Having something hot also helps set you up to win.

2. Grab your 6 inch plate! If you must indulge throw out that safety net of portion control!

3. Drink water! Before eating grab at least 8 to 10 ounces of water. It'll help digestion and force you to eat less at mealtime.

4. Find the protein. I know this is a hard one. Where's the protein between cake and ice cream, right. However you can get some in ther form of nuts and grains. So keep those almonds and pumpkin seeds handy!

5. Relax. Festivities are a part of life and will be included in your lifestyle. No one's saying don't have a little bit those tempers but don't beat yourself up about it and definitely don't let one set back kill your dreams😉

Always remember why you started❤
Sunday Crew started very informally as a handful of ladies that got together for hill training. Many different goals, but one unified mission to 'BE BETTER'.
"It's better to suffer together" we'd say breathlessly as we went through repeat after repeat of the different hills on Sundays.
We certainly are better for every effort. So many transformations and different events participated in our short 2 years that individually most of the ladies would never dreamed to be a part of.

We're a fierce support team. 'No woman left behind', we look out for each other and we keep the group standards high. Positivity always. Good Vibes Only!
