Here’s the WDA CREW 's suggestion: every race should have a proper Risk Assessment, with the outcome dictating the level of road support required. A run in The Penal shouldn’t carry the same risk profile as one along the PBR — same potential outcome, but very different probability and exposure.

RUNNER SUFFERS BROKEN RIBS AFTER BEING HIT BY VEHICLE DURING MARATHON

Veteran runner Curtis Forbes was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident along the Eastern Main Road near Carib Brewery during the BAFA Midnight Marathon over the weekend.

Reports indicate that Forbes sustained broken ribs as a result of the incident.
