In a fiercely contested match in Round 2 of the TTCB Premiership II North 2-Day League Competition, the TTPS’ Cricket Team secured first innings points versus Alescon Comets in the top of the table encounter. 🏏

The TTPS’ Cricket Team started their TTCB Premiership II North title defence is no uncertain terms with a victory versus Queens Park Cricket Club II at the Queens Park Oval. 🏏

Left-arm orthodox, Justin Joseph and right-arm off break, Ishmael Ali, complimented each other brilliantly, bagging combined figures of 8 wickets for 63 runs in 18.5 overs, to secure first inning points versus Aranguez Sports Club in Round 7 of the TTCB Premiership 2-Day League Tournament.🔵

Having started Round 7 in 1st place, the TTPS’ Cricket Team had their eyes set on cementing their position at the top and ultimately, winning the League, however, this result, albeit adversely affected with the loss of time due to inclement weather and an event scheduled at the venue, proved to be insufficient, and the League eventually went to Comets SC.🏏

In a knock that displayed maturity beyond his years, National Youth Player, Brendan Boodoo, stabilised the middle order of the TTPS with a crafty inning of 59 runs off 102 balls which included 5 fours, to contribute to a victorious batting effort. 🔵
