Great experience 💞

After a very long week at school and organizing my RC gears and suitcase the day finally came, Friday 10th January,2020.

My dad and I boarded a Caribbean Airline flight to Miami International Airport. I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep the night before.

So here’s a pic of my dad, my official pitman”mechanic “ and I on the plane. People say we could be brothers, haha.

I love my dad a lot for all he has done for me in the sport of RC.

Thank you to thank my dad and my mum for all their support, I know that it is an expensive sport but you still try very hard to take part in these events. If it wasn’t for them I would not have known my true skills in the sport of RC.

Thanks to God for all he has done for me.

Special thanks to all of you who support me, thanks very much.

So this is how my year started off
The IFMAR GT World Championship was hosted at Homestead Miami in January 2020 which I competed in. The best part of this whole trip was meeting 2 really nice guys who I meet back in 2016 in Tobago 🇹🇹 Mike Lyday and his son Nate Lyday really great people and I had a great time these 2.
The event was epic being the 1st official GT World Championship I had already won just by being there. Made some new friends and learned some new techniques 😬 which I will be practicing. My dad on the other hand did all the wrenching as usual because he says the less I know bout the car the faster I’ll drive so I let him do his thing. I also got the opportunity to drive with some of the fastest drivers in this class were I learned some great techniques which I’m going to adapt to my style of driving.
At the end of the event I managed to finish 2nd in the youth class which I’m happy with.
Now this whole experience would not be possible without these people Lorrane Boodhai, Mr Delaney, Rino Lino, Ramiro Ochoa, Héctor Ochoa, Hex Design, Denis Fonrose, Steven Hosein and most importantly my parents Farisha and Neil Ramoutar and God almighty for making all things possible.
