21 years ago…..

When I told my mom that I was leaving my job, moving to Morvant to live with my aunt to pursue my degree ; she laughed at me. She asked , “ how are you going to pay for it? I responded with my father’s mantra “ if there is a will, there’s a way”. At 19, I was walking away from my first management role with great potential and a salary of 1600 TTD in 1999.

Mom was right. I could not pay my school fees at the end of the first year even if I made As in nearly all my courses. But God! My sister, who had her own challenges as a single mother, decided to step in and help. Thank you sis ❤️. Karin McNeil. Sometimes, all we need to do is take the first step, God will see us through. Never would I have imagined this life that God has blessed me with.

It will be 21 years that I took that leap of faith and eventually graduated with honors, in 2002.

Please, do not deter these young people from dreaming! Do not discourage them from taking leaps of faith.

Young people - who are graduating or about to start , you never know God’s plan for you. Take that leap of faith. Make that move! May God richly bless you. I leave you with :
