Only started playing tennis in April but been most consistent and determined to perfect each shot. Proud of Kevon’s progress, this month he placed 3rd in Fyzabad Tennis Section’s Pick Your Partner tournament. Well done and keep going! 🤩👏🏽🥳

THIRD tournament. THIRD time stamping his name in the books! ✨🎾🔥

Jediael does it AGAIN! Today he powered his way to the finals at the RBC U10 Red Ball Competition at the National Racquet Centre! 💪🏽🎉

To put this into perspective, he only started tennis in mid-July and is already walking away with THREE medals! 🥇🥈🥉
The progress, the consistency, the hunger… we are SO proud! 🥳👏🏽🎾

The squad showed up and locked in. Iron sharpens iron. 💪🏽

Very proud of these guys, I’ve seen a lot of improvement from Day 1 to now!

Consistent training is important because it builds real, lasting improvement. Every session helps strengthen technique, sharpen decision-making, and build confidence on court. Progress doesn’t come from one great day of practice, it comes from showing up regularly, putting in the work, and allowing small gains to stack over time. Consistency creates rhythm, discipline, and the foundation needed to grow into a stronger, smarter player. 🎾

Matthew and Maya took part in their very first competition, even though they’ve only started playing in August, they’ve made a lot of progress. Both were able to win points and have rallies! I’m very proud of both of them! 🥳🤩🙌🏽

Congratulations to Matthew on placing 4th in the competition! 🎉🥳👏🏽

Didn’t get the gold but that’s totally okay! I’ve seen so much improvement in this passionate and dedicated student of mine. Couldn’t be more proud of him, he kept fighting and did what he had to do! 3 out of 4 wins! Keep going Jediael 🎾🥳🤩

Four national coaches, one unforgettable experience 🇹🇹✨

Coach Jovani (TTO Boys Team 2 - 5th place)
Coach Stefon (TTO Boys Team 1 - 2nd place)
Coach Darcelle (TTO Girls Team 1 - 1st place)
Coach Sherisse (TTO Girls Team 2 - 4th place)

My first time coaching a national team and what a journey it’s been. I never expected the opportunity to come this soon, but it did, and I’m incredibly proud to have led my girls to a top 4 finish out of 8 competing nations. They fought hard, played with heart, and made me proud every step of the way. ❤️

Grateful for the lessons, the laughs, and the leadership growth. Being a team captain isn’t easy, but the feeling it leaves you with? Indescribable. 🙌🏽🇹🇹

2011 • 14 years old • Fyzabad

I had only been playing tennis for 2 years. At my second ever tournament, after I won a match, I overheard a female coach say to her player, “You let that little Indian girl from Fyzabad beat you?”

Those words stuck with me, not as hurt, but as fuel. They still echo in my mind when things get tough, and they push me to be better.

Back then, if you told me I’d become a coach, I would’ve laughed. That wasn’t the plan. The plan was to play for Trinidad and Tobago, to compete internationally. But life happens. Injuries happen. And still, God always has a plan.

Today, I coach full time. I get to share this beautiful sport with both children and adults. I’ve found my purpose. And now, I’ve been given the honour of coaching one of our National U12 teams, alongside three other incredible coaches.

This “little Indian girl from Fyzabad” is just getting started.
Ain’t God amazing?! 🙏🏽🎾

Golden hour on the tennis court is pure magic, especially if you’re someone who loves the sky. The soft, golden light paints everything in a warm glow, turning every serve and rally into a moment out of a dream. The sun hangs low, casting long shadows across the court, while the sky shifts through breathtaking hues of orange, pink, and gold. It’s the kind of atmosphere that makes you pause between points just to take it all in. For sky lovers and tennis fans alike, it’s the perfect blend of nature and sport, a reminder that beauty and play can coexist effortlessly.🌇🎾🧡
