Club Sando Welcomes Imran Khan to Its Technical Staff

Club Sando Cricket Director Allan Gopaul has announced the appointment of former Trinidad and Tobago leg spin legend Imran Khan as the club’s leg spin coach, strengthening its technical staff and commitment to developing young players.

Gopaul described leg spin as a specialist art that requires patience, discipline and an understanding of the game. He highlighted the value of developing bowlers who can take wickets, build pressure and adapt to the demands of every format.

Khan’s addition will give Club Sando’s emerging spinners the opportunity to learn under his knowledge and guidance. The focus will extend beyond bowling technique to include control, variations, tactical awareness and the confidence to respond to different match situations.

Gopaul said the appointment represents an investment in the club’s future. By providing specialist coaching within its structure, Club Sando aims to help youngsters develop their abilities and prepare for opportunities at higher levels of competition.

The club’s vision is to build a sustainable pathway where young players receive consistent support as they progress from youth cricket into the senior ranks. Khan’s experience will support that process, helping aspiring leg spinners understand both the technical and mental demands of their craft.

Club Sando welcomes Imran Khan to the technical team and looks forward to the contribution he will make to its players and long term youth development programme.
